Description: On the 14th of December, 2016, the JPIC Club of Loreto Convent Intermediate College Lucknow organised a workshop on 'Safety of Humans Worldwide' by inviting four eminent speakers from various walks of life to enlighten students on the topic. The speakers were Ms. Babita Singh, DSP Women Power Line, Mr. Akshay Kumar, Chief of Surveillance, Crime Branch, Ms. Tavishi Srivastava, Senior Political Editor, The Pioneer and Dr. Roop Rekha Verma ex-Vice Chancellor of Lucknow University. They enlightened students of Loreto and other schools who had been invited, on cyber crime, gender inequality, child labour, eve teasing and human trafficking. The event was a success as all students were motivated and pledged to contribute their bit to the safety of humans worldwide.
